the first thing that you may notice about life is the enormous diversity of the living organisms and the huge no. of species in every family.. an example see how many species in class insecta or see how many flowering plants or the marine organisms and see the differences between them.
so there must be an explanation for this biodiversity and here the conflict arise...
the great mind of charles darwin put the first most accepted explanation for this biodiversity, his theory (evolution ) explained the biodiversity as the living organisms develop
specific characteristics over many generations in long time so the organisms will change some features along several generations including the rise of new species and the natural selection was the mechanism that leads to the diversity of living organisms...and the theory discribed the common ansector of all living organisms ( that all living organisms on earth arised from a common decent ) and there are many evidences for this concept, after knowing the chemical composition of the genetics material DNA we found hat DNA chemical composition is constant in all living organism also u can find that the genetic code is constant in all living organism prooving the common ansector of all livings.
and that the main cause of the diversity ( in Darwin's opinion) was the natural selection.
after the age of Darwin, the huge development of the science of genetics and the new discoveries show us how genius Darwin's mind was... the development of the science of genetics and the understanding of the structure of the genetics material DNA and its features supports the theory of evolution as it shows how the genetics material ( DNA ) may change and how the simple changes in the DNA affect the features of the living organism.
. the mutation is a character of the genetics material and there are many causes for mutations for example the UV light may cause mutation and also there is phenomenon called jumping genes that some genes may change its position on the chromosome or even go from one chromosome to another and these changes can cause serious changes in the features of the living organism...many experiments were conducted to check how the changes in DNA of an organism may affect seriously the chracteristecs of the organism... such experiments were done on drosophila by playing wih its genome so it gives different features; changing the position of the wings, no. of wings, no. of legs or no. of eyes..etc
so thats how the theory of evolution explain the diversity among then living organisms...
On the other hand the religious people wether christians or muslims just refused the whole theory of evolution and they just have a belief that god created life as it is now and that we don't have to waste time in thinking how did it come and to think about an explanation of the biodiversity.. and in my opinion im againest this.. we have to think and to use or minds and its an order from our god
قل سيروا في الأرض فانظروا كيف بدأ الخلق
Finally..in my opinion i wanna say that the evolution theory is the only scientific explanation we have for the biodiversity BUT there are some problems about the theory
- the decent of man, and its along story i may publish another post about it
- the Origin of life and i already published a post about it.. go back for it
- and the most important problem is:
as I said that the changes occur in the living organisms are just spontaneously and done by random.. and these random changes can never lead to this enormous beautiful diveristy.. it can never explain the colors and the beauty of organisms and it will never lead to this well organized ecosystem.

so.. there must be an outline that drive these changes to end with this great biodiversity,..
that means that the evolution is true but there is a god behind this evolution ( the creator of the laws, outline and the greatest genetics engineerer if its possible to say so)
so I like to call it " CREAVOLUTION " means a combination of the theory of evolution and creation.
add this concept to your dictionary :)
